About Exam Study Groups
This study group is geared toward introducing the PMI PMBOK knowledge areas and processes to those interested in learning more about project management and those candidates who are preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP) exam and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam.
This study group is NOT an in-class training by instructors and does not qualify as required contact hours.
We are always looking for strong mentors for our study groups. If you are interested in hosting, please email studygroup@pmimanitoba.org
How it works?
The Study Groups are designed for PMP/CAPM candidates who already have fulfilled the educational and experience qualifications of the credential. The typical study process takes place over 12 weeks. The PMI Manitoba chapter will host its inaugural session covering the requirements of PMP/CAPM certifications, suggestions on possible study group meeting venues, introducing volunteers who will mentor and support the group, and offering a video resource on the session titled "How to attain your PMP in 6 weeks." (This is subject to availability and permission of the speaker)
