Michael Bennett, PMP, is a Senior Project Manager with the Canadian Wheat Board, the largest wheat and barley marketer in the world. He has over 25 years experience in the IT industry including significant experience in project and program management. Mike obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation in 2005.

Mike has been a member of PMI Manitoba for the last 10 years, 6 of which have been serving on the Programs Committee arranging speakers and coordinating events.

As Vice President (President-Elect), Mike is excited to serve the members of PMI Manitoba for the next 3 years. This year Mike will be focused on volunteer placement and appreciation, budget preparation for 2011, and preparation for the President role by expanding his knowledge in the local PMI chapter, other PMI chapters within Region 2, and PMI Global.
